Celebrities always hold some amount of attention in the public’s conscious, but even more so when they’re expecting a baby. Children are adorable and it’s fun to guess if any musical talent will pass on from parent to son or daughter.
Here’s our list of favorite musician babies and what we hope to see from them.
Kanye West’s North West
North West already has a name perfect for show business and a grandmother (Kris) who is an excellent manager, not to mention all the connections Kanye has. Will she follow her father’s hip hop or become a fashionista like her mother? Or will she take her name to heart and forge her own path?
Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon’s Monroe and Moroccan Scott
Named after Marilyn Monroe and where the couple proposed, the fraternal twins were born from pure talent. Carey sings, writes, produces and acts and Cannon raps, does comedy, acts and hosts TV and radio. With all of their parents’ resources and knowledge, they can break into any part of the entertainment industry they wish.
Adele’s Angelo
Adele’s son is still very much shrouded in mystery. His father, Simon Konecki, is a charity entrepreneur, but Adele has a large nest egg of her own as well. Despite only having one musical parent, Angelo has a mother with a wonderful set of pipes and a knowledge of multiple instruments and areas of music. He will probably still remain out of the public eye as Adele continues to keep her professional and personal life separate, so we will only see any budding talent when Angelo is ready to take the stage himself.
Beyonce and Jay-Z’s Blue Ivy
The infamous Blue Ivy Carter is already famous for her nontraditional name, and she too has a pair of very talented parents with plenty of connections. She already has a musical record, as her cries are on the song “Glory;” she’s credited for the role and become the youngest person to appear on the Billboard chart at a nigh impossible to beat age of two days old. Her parents are also trying to trademark her name for a line of merchandise as well, so no matter what she chooses to do in her life, she’ll already be famous.
Pink’s Willow
With a popular pop mother and a motocross racer father, Willow has an interesting mix of talent in her genes. Her mother is strong-willed and always forges her own path, so it’s just as likely Willow will be racing dirt bikes instead of singing songs!
Celebrities’ children tend to turn into celebrities themselves, and being birthed from extraordinary talent is a great way to be put on the path of stardom. As the years pass, we’ll keep an eye out on these babies and see what new horizons they’re bound to reach.
